Delete Your Account
1. Delete From Within the App (Recommended)
The fastest way to delete your account is directly from the Ibi Pax app on your device:
- Open the Ibi Pax app and sign in to the account you wish to delete.
- Go to Settings (the gear icon).
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
- Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete.
- You will be signed out, and your account will be permanently removed.
Account deletion completes immediately. You will receive no further communications from us, and your data will be removed from our active systems within the timeframes described below.
2. Request Deletion by Email
If you can no longer access the app (for example, you have uninstalled it or lost access to your device), you can request account deletion by emailing us:

Use the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include:
- The email address associated with your Ibi Pax account.
- A short statement confirming you wish to permanently delete your account.
For security, we will reply to verify the request from the account's registered email address before proceeding. We will complete the deletion within 30 days of verification.
3. What Gets Deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your account record (email address, encrypted password, account identifier).
- Your profile information (display name, preferences).
- Your in-app activity tied to your account (favorites, reading progress, settings synced to your account).
- Your push notification token, if previously stored.
4. What May Be Retained
We may retain a limited subset of information after account deletion, only as strictly necessary:
- Anonymous usage and crash data (already disassociated from your account) may be retained for up to 24 months for analytics and product improvement.
- Transaction records required by tax, accounting, or consumer-protection laws — we do not store your payment details (these are held by Apple or Google), but we may retain a record that a purchase occurred and was associated with a former account, where required by law.
- Support correspondence may be retained for a limited period to handle disputes or comply with legal obligations.
Any retained information is held in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
5. Active Subscriptions
Deleting your Ibi Pax account does not automatically cancel any active subscription. Subscriptions are managed by the platform where they were purchased:
- Google Play subscriptions — cancel from the Google Play app: Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Ibi Pax → Cancel subscription.
- Apple App Store subscriptions — cancel from Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Ibi Pax → Cancel Subscription.
We recommend cancelling any active subscription before deleting your account so you are not charged for a future renewal you cannot use.
6. Can I Reinstate a Deleted Account?
No. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. If you wish to use Ibi Pax again in the future, you will need to create a new account; previous data, history, and preferences cannot be recovered.
